Well, it finally happened. Still no word on the sub-blogs.

I didn’t usually agree with Gawker’s choices on their more controversial stories. Did we really need to see Hulk Hogan have sex? No. No we didn’t. Did we really need to out a Conde Nast employee? No. Nor did we need to out any gay people for the simple fact that they were closeted gays. But as indecent as these decisions were, they were, or should have been deemed to be, within the parameters of the First Amendment. It’s sad that the site will end because of some guy’s personal vendetta. This is why people hate rich people: they have as much capacity for good as anyone, but when they decide to be bad, their bad is truly bad and hurts people.
