The Catholic rentboy story on Gawker reminded me that I'd been meaning to watch this, a debate from a few years ago on the proposition "The Catholic Church is a force for good in the world." I'm pretty sure that, at best, it would be close to a tie if the participants had been two Catholics arguing for an nobody showing up to argue against. When it's Stephen Fry and Christopher Hitchens on the other side of the table, the Church doesn't really have a prayer (although the moderator did a pretty lousy job of the Q&A, I don't think it would have mattered).
