I now everyone has probably heard about this already but I was just listening to an interview with Andrew Solomon, the guy who interested Lanza's father and wrote the article for The New Yorker. He gives a really interesting insight what was going on between him and his ex-wife in the lead up to Sandy Hook.

One of the things that struck me was how we normally go and look at the parents as the cause of their child's behavior. This interview kind of showed how a lot of parents probably don't even think their kids are capable of something like this because they are good parents. Lanza's parents were sending him to doctors and really trying to get him help. It was a really good interview.
