Netflix posted the last set of episodes, and I finally got the chance to finish them up last night. I had been prepared, of course, by not-at-all hyperbolic reviews on NPR calling the show maybe the best series of all time (having seen the first 4 1/2 seasons, I knew it was great, but come on), with the third-to-last episode, "Ozymandias," being called by some the best episode of any series, ever. I knew how it ended-ended, and some of the more dramatic bits, but I'd done my best to avoid spoilers as much as possible.

I gotta say...even though I'm not one for the whole "Oh my God, this is the best thing ever!" thing (I mean, I was sixteen once, too, so I get it, but still), I would have a very hard time mounting a counterargument to either of the two above claims. Holy hell, did they get it right in that last season, and "Ozymandias" was as good an hour of television as I've ever seen.
