so, I'm in the market for a newer used car, and I have a car-expert friend on the case for me. He found a 2001 Honda Civic with 239,000 miles on it, and he says only the brakes need to be changed, that everything else is in really good shape. From my research, it seems that most Hondas, if cared for, can make it well over 200,000 with no ill effects. I barely put 1500 miles a year on my car. Does anyone have an older Honda, and can you verify they are a sturdy car that will last me 10 years? I do trust my friend, but would like to hear thoughts from Honda owners. Thanks!
