The PA ACLU has announced that Judge John Jones III—clearly born to be a judge, with that name—is expected to issue his decision today on Whitewood v. Wolf, the ACLU's lawsuit challenging the state's ban on same-sex marriage. If he strikes down Pennsylvania's version of DOMA, it will be a huge step forward for gay rights in the state, which is the last state in the northeast where same-sex marriage is illegal.

We are starting to look awfully lonely on this map.
