You guys heard of this Masanobu Fukuoka, cat? No? Haven't known of his work for very long either, but, it's rather significant.

He basically beat the system, well, more like he stopped trying to beatdown the biological system. Stuff is tremendous. No till! No rice paddies! and made other agriculturalists look antiquated, backwards and inverted, even though, his land was bushy, "looked" overgrown and untamed.

I'm not saying that it's easy to reproduce his methods with any sort of immediacy, or the abundance he created, but, if you start trying, making efforts here and there, and more efforts, and more, you're going to have some gains. And more gains and more.
