I think I finally sympathize with the interjection "TLDR." We get it, Bret Easton Ellis. You're not happy and you're not going to suffer in silence, but I'm still not going to read your long-ass rant.

Which brings me to the question: how do you read the news? How do you stay in touch without getting bogged down? Which websites are good at giving you succinct, relevant news? Do you have any methods of reading retention?

I've been without home internet for the last two months, which has forced me to save longer articles and read them when I'm at home by myself. No longer distracted by the flood of the 24-hour news cycle, my concentration has sky-rocketed.

Any pro-tips, Clashtalkers?
