Realized yesterday that I see a lot of middle and upper middle class people vaping in the streets but poor people and students aren't.

Was talking to some people about it and figured out it's because you have to have money to pay the 100 euros for the set up, and if you are poor or a student it's just easier to lay out five or six euros for a pack of cigarettes.

If they do start taxing these devices next year that's just going to make it even harder on people with less money - creating a divide between relatively healthy vaping for people with money and much less healthy smoking for the working class.

On a programming note it looks like my hotel in Paris only has shitty very expensive WiFi so I'm not going to bring my laptop so I'll do three updates on Monday.

It's 11:13 a.m. Thursday.

Last cigarette was 11:30 a.m. Friday.
