Back in 2000, the University of Hawaii—whose teams had, for years, gone by the nickname "The Rainbow Warriors" announced that they were dropping the "Rainbow" from their men's teams, who would thereafter simply be called "The Warriors."

Gee, I wonder why.

Well, sometimes progress means taking a step back, and now they're going back to the Rainbow Warriors. Good on you, Hawaii, where "aloha" now means "hello," "goodbye," "I love you," AND, "that's right, we've got 'rainbow' in our name—you want to make something of it?"
