Hopefully down a deep, dark well.

I couldn't make it through the book - I literally quit mid sentence. I did not care how the sentence ended. I hated every single person in the book, the husband the least because he was the least fleshed out. The main problems in the book boiled down to a special snowflake who couldn't deal with other people not realizing that she was a special snowflake, and by extension her daughter was also a special snowflake. The book managed to get in every bad stereotype about Seattle, except for a dig at the weather (or at least I don't remember one).

I just really, really hope that the end is that Bernadette's Indian virtual personal assistant turns out to have been stealing all her money.
