Watched it last night because it's currently on HBO. The Thirteenth Floor is a 1999 science fiction movie with the same premise as a Season 3 Lois & Clark episode where they go into a virtual reality world and make out a lot. OK, the premise isn't exactly the same, but it's the 1990s vision that we were going to be able to hook up to crazy machines and get stuck in them, etc.

I was spellbound. BF was less than impressed that of all the movies we've watched together, this is the only one during which I've managed not to fall asleep. There's just something about people being scared of technology that didn't come to pass that makes me laugh so hard. Wonder what they'll say about this in 2150.
