Hey y'all, if you haven't read any of the Kurt Wallander series, I highly, HIGHLY recommend it for people who like detective fiction. This guy laid the groundwork for that Dragon Tattoo joker. He is a favorite of mine and also a left-wing human rights activist, which makes him even cooler.

I started with The Man Who Smiled and then went from the beginning to the end, The Troubled Man, a fantastic conclusion. I guess Wallander was gone when that book was finished but it's going to be sad to lose his creator for sure.
