So as I mentioned last night, a couple of companies I applied to have contacted me regarding phone interviews. It occurs to me that I'd like to be as prepared as possible, so I was thinking about asking something along the lines of, "Is there anything you would like me to prepare in advance of the interview?"
Is that done? If it's not, I don't want to commit a faux pas by asking, but if people generally do/can try to figure out what they're going to talk about in the conversation, I'd like to give it a shot, since this is a job I really want. I figure the worst they can say is no, but if it's a question that tends to annoy/alienate hiring professionals, I'll probably leave it.
