(Literally, because it's 100 degrees here). But also because I had the best dinner last night.

I had never made pesto before. For some reason I was sure I couldn't do it because it seemed fancy or something. But it was SO EASY. I didn't even measure anything! The hardest thing was figuring out why my Cuisinart wouldn't turn on (which was because I hadn't plugged it in). Plus it was dirt cheap because my neighbor gave me a ton of basil. Also because I substituted walnuts for the pine nuts. I think for dinner tonight I will put some pesto on some salmon.

Everyone tell me other summer recipes that I can make because where I live we still have about two months of it left.
