Recently, Gawker Media has introduced unblockable ads. Well, that's a misnomer: you can block them, you just can't block them all. Because each ad is hosted on each Gawker Media site's server, and uses flash player.

I, for one, hate advertising of all forms. One of the best laws ever passed in my state was the law that forbade billboards. I understand it's impossible and is profit-generating, but I fucking hate internet ads, because they take forever to load, are garish, prevent me from viewing the content I'm there to view, and slow down Internet speeds noticeably.
