I'm jaded enough to doubt that the Utah marriage equality ruling will stand—I hope against hope that I'm wrong on that—but for now, let's enjoy the fact that LGBT couples are able to get marriage licenses in one of the reddest of the red states.

Also, let's enjoy this, from George Takei's FB feed: a local boy scout troop bringing pizza to the people waiting in line at the courthouse. That's right: boy scouts (an organization that was so tied to the LDS Church that I thought it would take another couple of decades for them to allow gay members—by which I mean the national organization, not local troops deciding to overlook the stupid policy) bringing pizzas to gay couples waiting to get married. In Utah.
