Hi kinja folks from ClashTalk, Oppo, Groupthink, Hackerspace, ODeck, Backtalk, Whitenoise, and Tay! Story645 was kind enough to let me do the post! It's that time of the week again: the chance for us to leave our respective sub-kinjas and mingle together, share stories, links, gifs, and even recipes in the Open Thread! This week's Crosspost has a theme: 1980's board games!

Over at ClashTalk the other day, we were discussing the old game Scruples, which would put players' ethics to the test with cards that had ethical and moral dilemmas. I've managed to track down some images of the playing cards, and I'll be posting them below for everyone who wants to play! Each post will be headed with one card, and if you want to play along just respond to the cards as you like.

(Another interesting piece of this is to see just how much has changed since this game was around in the 80's; a lot of these cards are really dated, so it's kind of a neat way to see how much we've progressed in 20 years.)

And don't feel like you can't participate in the Open Thread if you don't want to play the game. As always, Share and Share Alike is the rule of the day, so just post any ol' thing you want!

I also want to take the time to congratulate one of our own on her amazing story over at io9. If you haven't had a chance to read Empress's interview yet, I highly recommend it.
