On the bottom of lots of timewaster pages like Uproxx and other such clicktraps, there are links. Some are valid, some are product placement, and some are ads. One is a picture of a WTF creepy insectoid blister in the palm of a hand that is ostensibly a Testosterone booster plugged by GNC.
If you follow the link, you will see that the actual product is just your usual pseudo-medicinal junk supplements, in a rather mundane plastic bottle.
But this thing in the picture, this is nightmare fuel that makes the mind reel thoughts of bloated parasitic insects that have fed on your juices through the palm of your hand until both your skin and their bloated carapaces are stretched to transparency.
This completely triggers my kill-it-with-fire reflex, yet I am obsessed with positively identifying whatever it is.
